class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>The Pacific Northwest is one of the most beautiful and intriguing areas in the world, with pristine landscapes, dynamic cities, and a fascinating history. Explorers, reporters, historians and authors have been writing about it since Meriwether Lewis and William Clark reported to President Thomas Jefferson on their 1804-06 journey to the mouth of the Columbia River.
